Digital Autopsy
No two objects are ever the same nor can any single experience be completely replicated. Every idea is in a constant state of evolution - no one place ever remains the same; consequently, each object or experience tells its own unique story shaped by production/technology, time, place, and interaction (weather, usage, point of view, e.t.c ) no matter how delicate.
I wanted to interact and play with how we as humans have notions of what an object can be - thereby redefining the term forensic. The aim was to humanise my glasses and give them a sense of life. Glasses are a tool that provides sight, so it is as much a part of the body as any other part. Hence the term Four-eyes. Documenting my old pair of glasses as I changed frames, shifting the focus from me to my glasses to emphasise the sense of life within my glasses. I (glasses) have died, now autopsy was being conducted.
